Insulating Oil Supply
As one of the UK's major suppliers of insulating oils we are able to source product from quality producers around the world, using our significant purchasing power to secure the best terms available in the global marketplace, to the benefit of our customers.
Products are delivered into Stanlow by ship as a bulk cargo. Before distribution to our customers the oil is processed to ensure that it meets the high standard of cleanliness, dryness and low dissolved gas content required for electrical oils. All oils supplied by EOS exceed the requirements of BS148, IEC60296 and most other National and International Standards.
Insulating oils are supplied in the UK in bulk loads delivered in specialized, dedicated road tankers, or packed in 1 Tonne IBCs, 205 litre drums or 25 litre containers. For export, oil can be supplied in bulk shiploads; ISO tanks, Flexi tanks or 205 litre drums packed in dry containers.
Insulating oils can also be supplied in inhibited form, further protected against oxidation by the inclusion of carefully chosen anti-oxidant additives.
We also have the ability to produce 'bespoke' electrical oils to customers' specifications, to suit many specialized applications, for which no National or International Standard exists.
