EOS appoints new Sales Engineer
EOS are pleased to confirm the appointment of Gavin Allen to the position of Sales Engineer working alongside Andy Davies and reporting to the Sales Manager.
Gavin completed a technician apprenticeship with GEC Switchgear in 1993 where he went on to join the commercial department working on tendering, project management and account management roles mainly with NGC. In 2001 Gavin joined ABB Ltd in the procurement and tendering departments dealing with key customers including DNOs, NGC and Major Contractors.
Gavin developed his career with Winder Electrical and Cegelec before returning to ABB Ltd in 2006 as Project Manager in the newly formed Transformer Service Organisation followed by promotion to Business Manager.
Gavin will be responsible for key account management with special focus on site service development maintaining crucial links with key UK and overseas transformer manufacturers and large contractors.
